NuFarm General Hydroponic GROW fertilizer: Early and Rapid Veg phases

For the structural and foliar growth phase: between 6 and 6.4 pH is a good range. In hydroponics, adjust to pH of 6 and let drift up to 6.4 over the next few days. Then adjust back to 6. For soil, adjust in mixing bucket to 6.2 before watering. 

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING; FOR EACH GALLON OF WATER MIX: 

EARLY VEGETATIVE:  1/4 - 1 teaspoon General MICRO (dark)
                                         1/4 - 1 teaspoon General GROW (green)
                                         1/4 - 1 teaspoon General BLOOM (pink)

This stage starts after the cutting is fully rooted (roots coming out the bottom of the cube), and lasts about 6 days until the plants are about 6" tall. Gradually increase amounts to the levels of the next stage as the plant gets bigger. 

RAPID VEGETATIVE:  1 to 2 teaspoons General MICRO (dark)
                                        2 to 4 teaspoons General GROW (green)
                                        1 teaspoons General BLOOM (pink)

This stage starts at about 6 days, or about 6" tall, with the first big fan leaves.

Start at the lower end of the fertilizer dosage, and increase the Micro and Grow proportionate to the growth rate increases. Use 1 teaspoon of BLOOM the first 4 days   of this stage, then discontinue. This stage lasts about 4 to 9 days, depending on how big you want each plant. If plants are in rapid veg for longer, the plant might start flopping over from the weight of the leaves. If this happens,  add a tsp. of  pink per gallon. 

Directions are at the high end for optimal growth conditions for short-season strains. Long-season varieties need less fertilizer.  Overdose results in browning of the leaf tips about 3 days after application. If plants show signs of stress, reduce nutrient strength.   An underdose is expressed as yellowing of the leaves about 3 days after application.   If this happens, gradually add more fertilizer. The first time you use any fertilizer, reduce recommended levels by about 25% until you get feedback from the plants.  

Handy tips: CO2  partially compensates for high temperature and/or low humidity.

The optimum temperature is 76* F, the optimum relative humidity range is 48-57%. 

Optimum light intensity is about 5500 foot candles.With high  temperature and low   humidity conditions, use less fertilizer; with high light intensity and high CO2 levels,   use more fertilizer.  If you are using real soil (which has organic nutrients), use less   fertilizer. To prevent nutrient build-up in soil or coco, fertilize every time you water, but every time you water, add enough (fertilized) water to flush the medium, and discard the run-off water.
